The Botanik Torre Flora in the city of Recife was due to be delivered in 2026. Ten floors of the building were affected but authorities ruled out the possibility of building collapsing.
The only one present on the scene, a security agent noticed the fire and alerted the emergency services before leaving the scene unharmed. No casualties were reported in the fire which broke out on the evening of March 28 in Recife, in northern Brazil. The building is due to measure 28 floors and measure 2,000 square meters.
