This Monday, April 8, a total solar eclipse is visible from parts of Mexico, the United States and Canada. Around 44 million people are lucky enough to be able to observe with their own eyes the Moon slipping in front of the Sun.

Those in France will not have the chance to attend the show but it is possible to follow it live on the Internet, thanks to NASA. The American Space Agency is broadcasting the eclipse live on its YouTube channel from 7 p.m. Paris time, using a telescope.
