The 87th Ice Hockey World Championship will be held in the Czech Republic. The German national ice hockey team is in the spotlight at the tournament.

The DEB team is aiming to repeat last year's impressive performance, when they surprisingly took second place. The entire preliminary round of the tournament will take place in Prague. The Czech capital will host the tournament from May 10 to May 26, 2024. The tournament will be broadcast on television and in the live stream. The games will be played in two arenas: Ostravar Arena and HC Sparta Prague. Both arenas are usually home to the professional teams of HC Viticekovice and HC Sparta Prague, respectively. The quarter-finals and the semi-finals will be taken place in Ostrava, while the final will be in Prague, with the final to be held at the Prague Czech National Hockey Arena. The final will also take place at the Prague Arena, which has a capacity of 17,000 spectators.
