Woman accused of kidnapping and murdering an 8-year-old girl in Guerrero dies after beating. The minor, identified as Camila Gómez Ortega, disappeared on Wednesday afternoon.
The discovery of her body sparked protests from the family and community. One of those allegedly involved in the death, a woman, died as a result of a beating. The driver of a taxi in which the minor was allegedly transported was detained and that the woman initially took refuge in her home to avoid being lynched.
