An 8-year-old girl was found dead this week in the city of Taxco de Alarcón, in the Mexican state of Guerrero, after allegedly being kidnapped by three people.
After the incident, the authorities had to intervene because the angry population wanted to lynch the alleged perpetrators, local media reported. One of them,

, according to the Guerrero Attorney General's Office (FGE).

Images from Mexican newspapers showed two white vehicles, overturned in the street, after protests caused by the death. The word "murderers" was written on the cars and there are people around demanding justice.
The FGE, cited by the Mexican newspaper Milenio, reported that the driver of a taxi in which the minor was allegedly transported was detained and that the woman initially took refuge in her home to avoid being lynched by the population.
However, she was later beaten out of the house along with two men by the city's inhabitants.
According to a report from the FGE, cited by local media, the woman died due to the severity of her injuries.
Local media indicated that the two men were taken to a hospital and were also taken into custody of the Taxco police.
Until now, the causes or circumstances of death have not been revealed.
On Wednesday, the minor's relatives asked for help on social networks to find her, but hours later the girl's body was found and transferred to the Forensic Medical Service of Iguala de la Independencia, Milenio reported.

Some versions cited by the newspaper indicate that the girl, identified as Camila Gómez Ortega, went out to play with a friend around 3:00 pm (local time) and did not return.
According to the newspaper La Jornada, the minor was kidnapped by two people who were traveling in a taxi and who demanded a payment of 250,000 Mexican pesos to free her.
The population punctured the tires of the taxis and then overturned them. Members of the National Guard and the Army have had to go to the place due to protests by those demanding justice.
Both local media mention that there are three suspects: a man, a woman and the driver of the taxi in which the minor was allegedly taken.
