Biden's election campaign releases video in response to Donald Trump's anti-Obamacare comments. The former president speaks seven times at various events about wanting to end Obamacare.

Two days earlier, Trump posted his own video on his social media platform “Truth Social” in which he largely relativized his earlier calls for an end to the ACA. Trump sees himself in the sights of a smear campaign: In a court case in New York, he has to answer for hush money payments that are said to have flowed to the erotic actress Stormy Daniels. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, as the ACA is called in full, is a United States federal law that regulates access to health insurance in the United States. The health care reform requires almost all US citizens to take out health insurance, and people with low incomes are subsidized. At the same time, insurance companies must accept all patients, regardless of previous illnesses. The ACA is also called Obamacare because it was introduced in 2010 at the urging of the Obama administration.
