Erding's district administrator Martin Bayerstorfer invited the agricultural representatives to Grüntegernbach. Current problems were discussed.
The main presentation was given by Franz Bauschmid and Daniel Gschlößl from the producers' association for quality grain in the Erding district. They provided information about various cultivation and sales options, experimental projects with new products such as chia seeds and dry rice. In his lecture, Thomas Schreder, Managing Director of the Bavarian Riding and Driving Association, outlined the history of horse keeping in the district. The district does not plan to withdraw the lawsuit filed in November 2023 together with two affected farmers, but rather - as originally planned - to pursue a popular lawsuit which will be review the constitutionality of the underlying legislation..
