Weilheim Christians will hold a creation prayer in a different place every day from April 18th to May 5th. The aim is to maintain the “landmarks’ – which is also the title of this series – “as places of pause, prayer and connection to creation,” explain the Protestant pastor Sabine Nagel and her Catholic colleague Engelbert Birkle.

The various crosses are "an expression of the knowledge that 'heaven and earth touch', that nature is a gift and that 'everything depends on God's blessing'" The Oberland Climate Spring includes a total of around 170 events in four districts - from top-class lectures to workshops, bike tours, film and cabaret evenings to hands-on activities for children. The highlight is certainly the city festival, which takes place all day in Weilheim's city center on Saturday, May 4th - as an “Open Day for the Climate”. An extra flyer for the day can be found at www.weilheim.de.
