Fire in hospital in Ribera, one patient dies. Man, 53, apparently removed his mask during an oxygen therapy session to which he was undergoing, lighting the cigarette and causing the explosion of the machine that supplied the oxygen.
The other patients in the medical department were evacuated and transferred to the emergency room. The firefighters who responded to the scene found the body of the victim who had been trapped in the flames. The fire broke out this evening in the Fratelli Parlapiano hospital.
