El Al has become the airline that operates most of the flights that depart and land in the field, charges record prices from passengers, has already brought it to record levels of profitability, as could be seen in its annual report. The MakleB office responded that "the main part of the visit and the majority of discussion revolved around the issue of flight prices and the lack of competition in the market at this time"
