The space industry has reached an inflection point. For decades, it was dominated by rocket, satellite and equipment manufacturers.

From now on, it is the non-space industries which are taking over. Database services for industry will represent 60% of the $1.8 trillion in space revenues in 2035, according to a report from McKinsey. The space economy is expected to generate 1,160 billion in turnover in 2030, including 525 billion generated by pure players, says the McKinsey report.
