The local branch of the CSU Benediktbeuern-Bichl held its annual general meeting last Thursday. Hans-Otto Pielmeier, local leader of the party, made it very clear.

The differences within the administrative community also concern the local association. Thomas Holz, who entered the Bavarian state parliament in 2023 as a district representative for Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen, gave an overview of current political issues. Holz concluded his presentation with the call for the European elections to go to the polls in 2024 and 2025, as well as in 2028 and 2029. The local group also highlighted the upcoming new accommodation for 80 refugees in Benediktbeuern. The community has acquired a lot of land in recent years but has not used it, according to Pielmeyer. "In view of the foreseeable financial situation, the tied up capital is a problem for the coming budget," predicted Pielsteiner.
