The events took place this Monday, April 15, around 4:30 p.m., in front of the Leclerc school group, which brings together a nursery school and a middle school, located on avenue du 23 Novembre in Schiltigheim. When school leaves, a crew of four municipal police officers is present “on security”.
The agents saw a “black motocross bike, roaring engine” and “unapproved,” Constant Espargilière, chief of staff of the mayor of Schiltigheim, told AFP.

One of the agents, located a little further away, then stands in the way to stop him, making big gestures. But the driver does not slow down and rushes towards one of the police officers. According to the prosecutor, he “lost control” of his machine and hit the agent. Both men fall to the ground.
The driver gets up and flees on foot, pursued by the police officer. He was “quickly arrested”, adds the prosecutor.
