After the saga of the postponement of the first show due to the limitations of the Home Front Command - this evening Omer Adam opened his series of four shows in Yarakon Park, for which approximately 120,000 tickets were sold.

The show opens with a huge Israeli flag tens of meters high flying in the center of the stage and in the background the voice of Omar Adam can be heard talking about the situation: "In a few days, we will sit at the Seder table. We will tell about the exodus from Egypt - a journey to freedom and renewal. We will take with us the memory of the great disaster of October 7th, a physical and mental devastation, that lives in all of us, echoes and hurts. Tonight, we will shine the hope, the faith, we will prove that, like in previous generations, we can go out to freedom. We will cry out from here for deliverance, for bringing light in place of darkness, for connection and unity among us. The words and melodies that we will call out tonight together, we will have comfort, light, hope, prayer and faith and we will say Amen."

The first song that opened the show was the hit "Shakt" with the tens of thousands in the audience breaking out and singing together with Omer Adam. Omar then spoke excitedly to the crowd and said: "I think that these days we must more than ever be together strong and with great hope. No one will defeat us."

During the show, Adam hosted the What's Up trio, having recently been a guest on their podcast. In another part of the evening, he dedicated his poem "In the end everything passes" to the memory of Capt. Shaoli Gringlick, who fell in December in the Gaza war, a few weeks after participating in Keshet 12's "The next star" program. Gringlick's family members were present in the audience. Another exciting moment in the performance occurred when hundreds of drones were flown that created the symbol identified with the abductees and the text "We are waiting for you".

After Omer Adam tried to return the show that he postponed from Thursday to its original date - this evening - he announced this morning (Monday) that he was not successful in the task and the show will eventually take place on Thursday. "What didn't we do? What didn't we try to do for the show to take place today? But in this crazy reality there is nothing to do. We are forced to announce the postponement of the show and it will take place on Thursday 4/18 at 8:00 p.m. Please note that the tickets you received via SMS upon purchase are valid for the new date ".

At 1 am, Omer Adam published a video from Yarkon Park in which he said that he is trying to return the show to its original time, this evening: "New instructions have been issued and we are working to ensure that all shows will take place as planned. It is not up to me, everything changes here every minute. I will update in the morning."

According to the original plan, the performances were scheduled for April 15, 16, 21 and 25. However, in light of the previous restrictions, the first show in the park that was supposed to take place tonight was postponed to Thursday. At midnight, as mentioned, the restrictions were changed. "We are acting according to the directives of the Home Front Command and the police, we will continue to update tomorrow and pray that we will meet at the performances," said the production of the show after its postponement.

At the end of the situation assessment, it was decided that starting today, a change will be made in the defense policy of the Home Front Command. As part of the changes, it was decided to resume educational activities all over the country. Educational activities will be allowed in the conflict line and Gaza perimeter guidance areas subject to restrictions. Also, the restriction on gatherings in areas that are under green policy has been lifted.
