Young Samara, 14, was severely beaten on Tuesday April 2 around 4 p.m. in front of the Arthur-Rimbaud college, located in the La Mosson - La Paillade district in the northwest of Montpellier. The schoolgirl came out of the coma in which she was plunged on Wednesday, but until then remained in the hospital to regain her strength.

“Do justice to my daughter”

“Physically, we can say that she is doing well, but psychologically, she is not doing well,” confides Hassiba, indicating that the young girl “was afraid to leave the hospital”, does not “talk too much”, “is afraid of leaving the hospital”. stays up late and has difficulty getting to sleep. Last Friday, three minors aged 14 and 15 who admitted to having hit the teenager were indicted on Friday evening for “attempted intentional homicide” and placed under judicial supervision. Even before these indictments, the rector of the Montpellier academy, Sophie Béjean, “decided to immediately initiate disciplinary procedures” against these three students, the academy said in a press release Friday after noon, specifying that “the disciplinary councils will be convened as quickly as possible”.

Heard briefly, Samara “confirmed the violence to which she was subjected”. However, she “did not mention” acts of “harassment over a long period”, according to the prosecutor, in a press release in no way mentioning a religious dimension to this attack.
