A first media-judicial episode which is coming to an end? The complaint of rapper Booba, filed in 2022 for “deceptive commercial practices” against Magali Berdah, head of the influence agency Shauna Events, was dismissed, the Paris prosecutor's office said this Thursday from BFMTV.

The dismissal, dating back to November 7, demonstrates that "the rapper Elie Yaffa [real name of the rapper Booba] is not a whistleblower and never has been", defended the lawyers of the influencer, Antonin Gravelin-Rodriguez, Rachel-Flore Pardo and David-Olivier Kaminski in a press release sent to Le Parisien.
“Lynching was based on nothing”
The latter wish to recall that the artist residing in the United States remains indicted for aggravated cyberharassment: “The lynching, by nature unjustifiable, of which Magali Berdah and the company Shauna Events were victims was therefore based on nothing”, unfold its advice.
“We regret this decision and do not prohibit ourselves from bringing new elements to justice or from continuing the proceedings, in particular by filing a complaint with the constitution of a civil party”, reacted the lawyers of the artist, Marie Roumiantseva and Gilles Vercken with BFMTV.
This complaint led to the opening of a preliminary investigation in September 2022 in Grasse (Alpes-Maritimes), before the public prosecutor's office relinquished the case in favor of the Paris public prosecutor's office.
The announcement of his dismissal comes as a new episode in the case between the "Duke of Boulogne" and Magali Berdah began on Monday with the filing of a new complaint by the rapper against the former queen of influence for defamation and failure to respect the presumption of innocence.
