In fact, the first, the one exhibited at the Lamborghini stand in Geneva in 1964, with chassis number #101, in Ginevra Verde Metallizzato on a white interior, was destroyed due to a rear-end collision while it was stopped at a traffic light.

This model represented the beginning for the house of the bull, with a chassis and chassis developed by the engineer Giampaolo Dallara, a 3.5 liter V12 engine with 4 overhead camshafts of 320 HP, the result of the engineer Giotto's project Bizzarrini, who was assisted by the engineer Paolo Stanzani, to best adapt it to road driving, and a design of the aluminum bodywork created by Carrozzeria Touring of Milan, which also took care of the production.

The refined stylistic and technical solutions on the 350 GT were also combined with a very high level interior finish, with extensive use of leather and chrome.

The passenger compartment had a 2 + 1 configuration, with two front seats and one central rear seat.

The first 350 GT was delivered to the Livorno drummer Giampiero Giusti, at the time at the height of success with the musical group "I 5 di Lucca" which later became "Quartetto di Lucca" and considered one of the most important Jazz formations in Italy.

Additionally, a 350 GT was featured in Columbia Picture's 1967 film "Hurry Up and Kill Me... I'm Cold!"

With Francesco Maselli as director, where the bull's carriage was used as a means of transport by the main couple, composed of the celebrated Monica Vitti and Jean Sorel.
