PSG-Dortmund, the match is on. Like Luis Enrique earlier in the day, Borussia Dortmund coach Edin Terzic spoke at a press conference about the upcoming semi-final between the two teams in around ten days (May 1-7).
“We know it will be very difficult in the semi-finals. The difference between us and PSG is that PSG, from the start of the campaign, PSG was already thinking about the Champions League final, which they have wanted to win for many years now,” explained the German-Croatian coach, in position since May 2022.
“Very confident in this type of match”
Positioned in the group of death with PSG, BVB did admirably with a first place before taking out PSV Eindhoven then Atletico Madrid in the 8th and in the quarter-finals.
“We have had very good performances in the Champions League throughout the season. We had a difficult start. In the first two games, we only took one point and everyone thought it was over. But it's never over if you work hard and fight to come back. That's what the team did, and that's what we did every day. At the moment we are very confident, especially in this kind of match,” warned the Borussia coach.
But before facing PSG, Edin Terzic obviously prefers to "concentrate" on the Bundesliga and "its next two challenges" against Bayer Leverkusen of Xabi Alonso already crowned champion then against RB Leipzig, 4th and direct competitor for a place in Champions League next year.
