Eintracht Frankfurt has extended the contract of a young full-back. Louis Kolbe will therefore remain with the SGE.
Frankfurt – Eintracht Frankfurt has finalized the next contract extension. Louis Kolbe extends his working paper and remains an eagle. The full-back plays for the club's U21s and has played his part in ensuring that coach Kristijan Glibo's team has a strong season as promoted to the Regionalliga Südwest.
Eintracht extends contract with full-back
“Louis has worked hard on himself in the last few months and has really earned his regular appearances in the regional league. With his high speed, he gives the team defensive stability and also appears again and again as an invigorating element in the offensive," said Nino Berndroth, head of squad planning U17 to U21, on the club's own website.
“With hard work and ambition, he has already developed well in the first half of the season, but in our opinion his potential has not yet been exhausted. We are pleased that he wants to continue his path with and at Eintracht Frankfurt, which he has been on since the U10,” continued Berndroth.

In the current season, Kolbe appeared in 16 league games, eleven of which were in the starting line-up. The 20-year-old scored one goal and assisted three more goals. His highlight was certainly his first regional league goal, which he scored after a remarkable solo run against leaders Stuttgarter Kickers.
Louis Kolbe remains at Eintracht Frankfurt
The defender started playing football at FSV Friedrichsdorf before moving to DJK Bad Homburg. He has been playing in the Eintracht Frankfurt youth department since 2013 and has played in all youth teams from the U10 to the U21.

Louis Kolbe wants to continue to show good performances in the Adler's U21 team and maintain his regular place under the new head coach, who will take over from Kristijan Glibo in the summer. The 20-year-old's goal is to get a chance with Dino Toppmöller in the Bundesliga squad. But it's still a long way from getting there for the Frankfurt native. (
