With three days remaining, Paris FC is the 3rd D1 Arkema team guaranteed to compete in the playoffs after Lyon and PSG. In a match relocated to the Jean-Bouin stadium (Paris 16th arrondissement) due to the state of the pitch at the Charléty stadium, he secured his 3rd place and was able to bounce back perfectly after their defeat last Friday during the derby in Fleury (2- 1). Sandrine Soubeyrand's team stunned Montpellier (3-0), candidate for the Top 4, in one half. Kessya Bussy, already a scorer against Fleury, scored twice (4th, 45th + 1). Clara Mateo scored the second goal (2-1).
A great response after her non-selection on Thursday in Hervé Renard's list for the matches against Ireland and Sweden in Euro qualifying while she had been called up regularly since 2020 (29 selections in total). “I think it's important to alternate, not to always take the same players, it can be good for everyone. It might be a little harder to watch your colleagues on TV, but maybe it can give you even more motivation. It’s a message, but it’s a message that needs to be heard,” Hervé Renard justified himself.

In the meantime, Paris FC now has more than a month to prepare for its semi-final of the playoffs which will take place on May 12. It will be against the 2nd, so certainly PSG. This would be the 4th clash between the two teams after the first leg (3-2 for PSG), the semi-final of the Coupe de France (4-3 on the tab, 3-3) on March 10 and the return match in the championship on April 24.
