Munich – Thomas Tuchel is likely to have mixed feelings about the recent international break. On the one hand, he should be pleased that the German players are returning from the national team with positive momentum for the first time in months. On the other hand, however, he once again has to complain about many injuries.
German national players return to FC Bayern with confidence
Thomas Müller, Joshua Kimmich and, above all, Jamal Musiala should go into the duel with their arch-rivals from Dortmund with a big chest (kick-off on Saturday, 6.30 p.m. - click here for the TV information). The victories against France (2:0) and Holland (2:1) with the DFB team must have given them a lot of self-confidence. Things have generally been different in the last few months.

Musiala in particular seems to be in top form at the moment. With his congenial DFB partner Florian Wirtz, he not only enchanted the German fans, but also his opponents in the French and Dutch ranks. Thomas Tuchel will hope that Germany's new number ten can continue his gala form against Dortmund.

Top striker Harry Kane traveled back to Munich early from the English national team because his ankle is still causing him problems. Classic against Dortmund: Neuer is probably out
However, things look even worse for Manuel Neuer. The reinstalled number one in the German goal injured his adductors during a training session with the DFB and will most likely not be between the posts against BVB. At least Aleksandar Pavlovic now looks like he could play in the top game on Saturday. The youngster was suffering from tonsillitis and therefore had to miss his debut in the DFB uniform.
