Barak Becher received an official offer from the Football Association to coach the Israeli national team. After several days in which the association dealt with the termination of the contract with the professional manager Yossi Benyon and the national team coach Alon Hazan, today (Friday) the governing body of Israeli football shifted gears and officially offered Barak Becher to coach the national team in the coming years.
From the first moment after the elimination in the semi-finals of the Euro promotion playoff against Iceland last Thursday, it was clear to the heads of the football association that the first candidate to replace Alon Hazan should be Barak Becher, and he was indeed presented with an official offer to which he was asked to respond in the near future.
The soccer association scheduled a meeting for the professional committee, which consists of a large number of members, for April 15, so that Bakhar will be given time to decide whether he accepts the offer and becomes Israel's next national coach.

Since the position of the professional manager after Yossi Benyon is canceled, the financial offer to Bachar will be significantly higher than the contract that the cantor had, so from a financial point of view and regardless of the compensation Bachar needs to receive from Red Star Belgrade, this is a respectable contract that should be around $250,000 net. As mentioned, Bachar will have to respond soon to the offer and he should arrive, if he agrees to the offer, together with the entire team that worked with him at Maccabi Haifa, led by assistant coach Guy Sarfati.
The football association is convinced that as soon as Bacher decides that he is taking over the training of the team, he will be 100 percent complete with the decision and that all the talk about him feeling that the team is second class, are false and do a great injustice to both Bacher and the team.
If Bacher refuses the offer to be appointed coach of the Israeli national team, the next in line on the list of candidates will be Ran Ben Shimon, who currently coaches the Cypriot AAK Larnaca and is preparing for the season's match against Apoel Nicosia tomorrow. Along with Ben Shimon, Roni Levy is also on the list, but as mentioned, from the point of view of the association, the expectation is that Bacher will receive the official offer put before him to coach the national team.
