The negotiations between Alphonso Davies and FC Bayern are at an impasse. FCB boss Max Eberl is now launching the next verbal counterattack.

Munich – The transfer poker surrounding Alphonso Davies is entering the next round. FC Bayern recently made a public appeal to Davies' camp to make an early decision about the future. His advisor Nick Huoseh then complained about unfair treatment. Now FCB sports director Max Eberl reacted again with a verbal counterattack.

Davies and FC Bayern have no solution - neither contractually nor verbally

It could be the constant topic at FC Bayern next summer: Will Alphonso Davies stay in Munich or will he go? So far, the Canadian and the Bavarians don't seem to be able to find a solution - neither contractually nor in terms of communication.

Davies' contract with Bayern runs until the summer of 2025. The German record champions are aware of the interest from other top clubs, including Real Madrid, and are pushing for a contract extension. “We made Alphonso a very concrete, appreciative offer. At some point in life you have to say yes or no,” said Eberl just a few days ago.

Davies advisor doesn't want to know anything about the ultimatum: "We'll decide at the end of the season what happens next"

However, the Canadian's advisors have so far been reluctant to sign a new contract and are playing for time. “It is a very important contract in Alphonso's career and we are supposed to make the decision - without knowing who the coach will be next season or what the team looks like. That's why we think it's unfair to react to the ultimatum and will decide at the end of the season how to proceed when there is more clarity," explained advisor Nick Huoseh to

Eberl on Davies’ decision: “Can’t wait for Saint Neverday”

Bayern boss Eberl's next counterattack didn't take long to arrive. “We are not under pressure,” said the 50-year-old on

. “There is a normal relationship between player and club. We believe we have made a very fair and correct offer. It’s true that at some point in life you have to say yes or no.”

If Davies decides against an extension in Munich, Bayern want to at least generate value for the full-back in the coming transfer summer. However, there isn't much time left. “I can't wait for the next day and say that the decision will fall from heaven at some point. Decisions have to come from all sides,” Eberl explains on Sky.

Eberl wants to clarify Davies' decision as quickly as possible

“Some stone has to fall. For me, the club is still the strong part. Accordingly, it is completely legitimate that, regardless of whether it is Alphonso Davies or another player, you have to make a decision at some point when you have a decision on the table,” he says Bayern boss continues.

One thing is clear: Eberl is deliberately increasing the number of hits in the Davies case in order to prevent the transfer saga from extending deep into the summer. In any case, he has his hands full with the search for a coach at Bayern - in any case, the signing of desired coach Xabi Alonso now seems “probably impossible”. There are more complicated weeks ahead for Bayern.
