Midfielder Chris Führich has made an impressive development at VfB Stuttgart.
Several top clubs are apparently showing interest in him.
Stuttgart – VfB Stuttgart is one of the positive surprises of the 2023/24 season in the German Bundesliga.
From a strong collective, individual players still stand out, including Chris Führich, who has developed strongly.
In the past two and a half years, the second division player has become a national player who has a chance of getting a place in the squad at the 2024 European Championship in his own country.
But how long will he stay with Stuttgart?
DFB ace Führich was courted by three top clubs
The 25-year-old extended his contract until June 2028 in February of this year.
He feels comfortable at VfB Stuttgart and is successful there.
If the club doesn't collapse in the final stretch of the current season, there will be Champions League games on the program next season.
However, a hot transfer phase is looming for the summer, in which three clubs will apparently try to sign Führich.
According to information from the pay-TV broadcaster
Sky,
the trio is Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig.
VfB Stuttgart could not prevent the departure of its top performer because an exit clause is anchored in the newly negotiated contract.
Führich is apparently allowed to leave the club for a sum of between 20 and 25 million euros.
Apparently several clubs are interested in Chris Führich.

Führich receives praise from all sides for his performances, including of course from his coach.
The 26-year-old is playing “very consistently,” said coach Sebastian Hoeneß recently.
“That’s great for him and great for us.” The blonde offensive man embodies the Swabians’ upswing and joy of playing in a special way.
Compared to last year, he has probably made the biggest leap at VfB.
Führich has an exit clause in his new contract
Despite the exit clause, those responsible at VfB Stuttgart expect to have fun with Führich for quite some time.
Sports director Wohlgemuth remains relaxed about all the rumors about the shooting star.
“He signed a contract with us,” said the 44-year-old.
“That’s why I assume he’ll still be with us next season.”

Führich himself is probably not thinking about leaving in the summer at the moment.
Even if it is only enough to qualify for the Europa League, he should favor staying in Stuttgart, as
Sky
reports.
In the last eight Bundesliga games of the 2023/24 season, he has a hand in ensuring that his team secures a ticket to the premier class.
