: Hanover – For the German national handball team, the last game of the Olympic qualification against Austria is about the ticket for the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
But the task won't be easy, as the game between the two teams at the Handball World Cup a few weeks ago showed.

After the opening win of the qualifying tournament against outsiders Algeria, the DHB team suffered a defeat against Croatia.
The German selection missed an optimal starting position for the final game against Austria due to a dismal performance in the first half.
“We were very disappointed with the first half.
The Croatians were better than us if you look at the entire 60 minutes.
“That first half was very annoying,” said Gislason on ZDF.
At half-time he told his players “that the best six Croatians are sitting in our dressing room and we have to do our job now”.
His team acted hastily and headlessly in the first 30 minutes.
