For the centre-left, which in Basilicata is aiming for the broad field (but without Action and Italia Viva), after Conte's two days in Lucania, it was Elly Schlein's turn to support the gubernatorial candidate, the dem Piero Marrese. Tomorrow, however, in the square, in Potenza, for the outgoing Vito Bardi, the center-right will line up the three leaders on the same stage: the Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni (FdI), and the deputy prime ministers Antonio Tajani (FI) and Matteo Salvini (Lega ).
In reality, after the fireworks that accompanied the choice of the centre-left gubernatorial candidate at the end of March, for several weeks, the Lucanian electoral campaign of the Pd and M5S proceeded under the radar, crushed by the prospect of the importance of the European vote , with the proportional system which inevitably distances the two parties, and from the clamor for the break in Bari.
In this regard, after yesterday's truce, with the joint statement from Michele Laforgia (M5S) and Vito Leccese (Pd), separated in the first round but then promised allies in the event of a run-off, another controversy took place today.
