As he prepares to celebrate ten years since the release of
On my route
at the Grand Rex in Paris, singer Black M made some confidences in
Le Parisien
about his time in
“Dancing with the Stars”
.
A program that he left last Friday, following a verdict that he seemed to find difficult:
“At the end of our performance, I wanted to explain to the jury that I had been injured for weeks and put things back on track. James Denton had immunity, while I danced while injured like him. I like the judges, but they were harsh on a lot of dances.”
He takes the opportunity to challenge the idea that he left the adventure to be able to give his concert at the Grand Rex. A backup date was planned, he said.
“What would have suited me is to win
“
Dancing with the Stars
”
! I would have liked to have had the light that Tayc, Billy Crawford or Matt Pokora had
,” he assures.
Black M's doubts
It is also to remain in the media that the 39-year-old rapper, formerly of Sexion d'Assaut, joined the program.
“Production had been chasing me for four years. I said no for fear of judgment. I was afraid of no longer being credible afterwards. But with age, my vision changes. I can no longer act like a young 20-year-old hip-hop artist who smoked joints
,” he adds in the daily.
Black M then drops a little bomb. Convinced that he would benefit from the public's votes, last Friday, the musician wondered:
“Isn't there something wrong when they stop the votes? I'm wondering. I asked them straight in the eye: “Guys, is this a bit fake? Tell the truth”… And they said, “No, not at all.” I don't believe them, but I don't want to make it a state affair... It's weird. In the world of TV, they control things that we don't see. If I were the producer of a show like “Dancing with the Stars”, if I wanted to put so-and-so in the final, I would do what I wanted. So I think they do what they want.”
Will TF1 provide a denial?
