Italian Economy Minister GiancarloGiorgetti said G7 finance ministers reiterated their "full, convinced support for Ukraine" during a gathering within the framework of the International Monetary Fund meetings.
The ministers also reiterated the intention to use frozen Russian assets to support Kyiv, although Giorgetti added that this task is "delicate".
Giorgetti said that Italy, which is the G7 duty president, has invited Ukrainian Finance Minister Sergii Marchenko to the finance ministers G7 in Stresa from May 23 to 25.
The finance ministers also pledged "maximum coordination on any future measures that reduce Iran's ability to acquire, produce or transfer weapons".
