FC Bayern fans are certainly familiar with this lady: But would you have recognized her in this unusual look at Munich airport?
Munich - FC Bayern reached the semi-finals of the Champions League on Wednesday – thanks to a strong performance in the second leg against Arsenal. And thanks to a mega display of willpower from Joshua Kimmich, who ignited the header to make it 1-0. However, Laura Wontorra (35) was far from being off work after the final whistle. The presenter stood in front of the camera for the streaming service DAZN - and analyzed the big European Cup evening alongside expert Sami Khedira (37), who gave an angry speech after the game.
Laura Wontorra accompanied her FC Bayern day on Instagram
Even on such a busy day, Wontorra (481,000 followers!) is very active on Instagram. She gives an interim weather report well before kick-off, and also speaks up again and again on match day - and in the middle of the night with a photo in which she shakes the hand of Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel. Text: “Congratulations, Thomas!”.
So Wontorra won't have gotten much sleep. The first photo that she posted on her Instagram story from Munich Airport on Thursday is 5:46 a.m. Wearing a cap and visibly tired. “First coffee,” she writes as she sits down on the chairs in the airport. She has taken off the hat - and you see a rather unusual Laura Wontorra. With little or no makeup.
A professional apparently took care of it the evening before: Wontorra had taken several Instagram story fragments from a hair and make-up artist. After the short night, she probably kept her morning routine short. Was she recognized like that at the airport? FC Bayern fans should actually be familiar with her face from the night before - and Wontorra is one of the big names in her industry. Usually lavishly made up. This is what she looked like on Wednesday evening:
Laura Wontorra: Fans comment on her look – including her pants
Early in the morning at the airport, Wontorra also has to work - and uses an Insta story to advertise a product with nutrients that are supposed to "help reduce tiredness and exhaustion" in a slightly hoarse voice. However, when she posts the appropriate photo later, not everyone mentions the preparation. “Very pretty, much better than with all that make-up” and “And finally a woman who dares to present herself here without make-up,” they say.
Others look more at their jeans. “Pants broken,” reads one comment. “If you wore a whole pair of pants, you wouldn’t need health supporters,” another. Wontorra will take it all in stride – and will hopefully be able to catch up on sleep soon. Sylvie Meis had a rude awakening after a stranger took a selfie with her.
