Eight Argentine pizzerias have achieved global recognition by being included in the prestigious "50 Top Pizza Latin America 2024" list,
a ranking prepared by Italian experts that highlights the best pizzerias in the world. This list is considered one of the most influential guides in the field of pizza, and its inclusion represents an endorsement of quality and excellence for the selected establishments.
The ceremony took place on Wednesday, April 17 in Rio de Janeiro.
The Argentine pizzerias highlighted in this ranking join
a Latin American gastronomic elite, made up of 25 pizzerias from Brazil, 6 from Chile, 2 from Mexico and 2 from Venezuela.
Other Latin American nations have also achieved presence on the list: Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, Paraguay, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Venezuela and Guatemala have been recognized with a representative pizzeria in the ranking.
For Argentina, it is pleasant to know that a pizzeria from Adrogué was among the three best. Because on the third step of the podium is Ti Amo de Victoria and Carola Santoro who also received the special award for Performance of the Year 2024. In 2023 they occupied the 38th position in the World ranking and in 2022 they took the 50th position.

Position 3: Ti Amo de Adrogué
Until 2019, Victoria and Carola Santoro were dedicated to the world of fashion, but their true passion was always pizza. Despite having no culinary training or previous experience in the sector, they decided to take on the challenge of opening their own pizzeria in the Adrogué neighborhood. To learn how to prepare authentic Neapolitan pizza, they turned to tutorials available on YouTube.

They assure that Ti Amo's Margarita pizza is special: the dough is made with a mix of Argentine flours, the Italian sauce and the Fior di latte mozzarella is national but made with Italian machinery. It also has (a lot of) fresh basil, pepper, extra virgin olive oil and pepper.

Place 10: Atte, Pizzeria Napoletana from Palermo
This Palermo pizzeria was famous in 2022 because the singer Dua Lipa not only visited it but also recommended it on her Instagram account: "Possibly one of the best pizzas I have ever tasted (a big statement, I know) and excellent wine” , declared the artist.
On El Salvador Street there is an establishment located in a restored house, known for its authentic Neapolitan pizza and its constant influx of diners. Due to its popularity, it is advisable to make advance reservations or have enough time and patience when visiting, as it is usually very busy.

Atte's pizzas are distinguished by their thin sourdough, their inflated and crispy edges, known as corniglione in Italy, and their brindle appearance. These pizzas are cooked in a Pavesi oven imported from Italy, which is fed with white quebracho, adding a special touch to its flavor and texture.

Place 15: Chichilo's de Rosario
Santiago Cenitagoya, chef and owner of Chichilo's, has experienced notable growth since opening his pizzeria two years ago in the city. He expanded his presence with an additional branch, they triumphed in the South American Italian pizza tournament in Buenos Aires and had the opportunity to travel to Italy with prominent representatives of the global gastronomic sector.
"A place cared for in detail, with a beautiful bar counter that competes with the Neapolitan-style oven that dominates the room. Cenitagoya was able to travel to Rio de Janeiro, where he and his collaborators were recognized with this new award. The pizzaiolo uses special flours and an Italian-style oven where he cooks at 450 degrees for his creations. Place 16: Siamo Nel Forno in Palermo
Siamo Nel Forno is an authentic culinary gem located in the heart of Palermo and stands as an undisputed benchmark for Neapolitan pizza in the city. Juan Pablo Padrevita is the one behind Nuvola. In 2018, after training at Iatlia, he opened Cincinatti in the center of the City.
