In “Bauer sucht Frau International” it becomes clear in the first episode of season 6 that there can be worlds between the video and getting to know each other for the first time. Andreas is not well received by everyone.
Cologne – In the first episode of the sixth season of the RTL dome show “Bauer sucht Frau International”, the farmers finally meet their applicants. For Andreas (63) from Guatemala, reality catches up with some applicants. The first go voluntarily.

Candidate Susanne (58) has to admit at the first meeting that she is surprised by Andreas' appearance. She imagined him bigger. Andreas, in turn, is enthusiastic about her. In a one-on-one conversation, she admits that the spark didn't fly for her. She wasn't sure whether the chemistry would be right. In the decision-making round with presenter Inka Bause (55), she ultimately gave him a basket, much to his disappointment. “I’m staying in Switzerland,” she says, before Andreas even reveals his decision, and is therefore leaving voluntarily.
Things don't work with Nicole (44) either. Your first impression is different than in the video. Andreas asks directly what's wrong with her. She misses his soft side and remembers him as more reserved: “I see you as a bit tough and forward-looking.” The cocoa farmer justifies himself: “If you sit here with five women, it’s different than if you make an individual video.” The original ten candidates were able to introduce themselves to their applicants in advance in a video. After two candidates were eliminated from “Bauer sucht Frau International”, eight farmers (including two women farmers) remain.
At “Bauer sucht Frau International” the feelings are unbalanced
Petra (57) is one of his favorites and she also finds him very appealing, “in terms of body language” and because of his “penetrating eyes”. Elke (age unknown) is blown away by the candidate, who lives in Guatemala. She had goosebumps when she saw his introduction video for the first time. Even after the looks and hugs, she now has the feeling that something could develop between the two of them. Unfortunately Andreas sees it differently, she is not one of his two favorites, which leaves her “shocked”. He also doesn't want to take the doubtful Nicole with him to Guatemala.
Uta (57) doesn't want to make a real commitment right from the start because Andreas is looking for something steadier than her. Andreas, however, would like to invite her to Guatemala as a second candidate, which she is surprised to accept. This means that his chosen ones for the court week in Central America have been decided. In an interview, she explained why “Bauer sucht Frau” presenter Inka Bause had to travel internationally after her daughter emigrated.
