The demands on Russia's state TV are becoming tougher. After the Iran attacks, extremely drastic punitive measures are being taken.

Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov”
on Russia’s state television. The topic: Iran's attack on Israel. It is neither interesting what damage the attack caused nor how well the defense worked and by whom.
It is more important to talk about why Iran attacked Israel in the first place. Solovyov's statement was the start of an absurd-seeming program on Russian TV - in which the Iran panel made a blatant demand about Donald Trump from the USA, clairvoyance and the Third World War.
Russia's state TV complains about Donald Trump
“What was once sown is now bearing fruit,” Solovyov said. His thesis: There would have been no attack by Iran against Israel if Donald Trump had not withdrawn from the nuclear agreement. Even if Trump now claims that without him there would be no war, he has damaged the “fragile peace” by leaving.
Trump's withdrawal from the nuclear agreement also caused horror in the West - and Trump's predecessor and initiator of the agreement, Barack Obama, had warned of a strong Iran and a destructive war in the Middle East.
Solovyov displays a “prophetic” statement from a deceased politician
On Russian TV, this thesis was not followed by a political analysis during prime time, but rather a bizarre mash of ideas that was allowed to be reproduced without being contradicted. Five years ago, this TV studio warned of a war in the Middle East, said Solovyov.
Vladimir Zhirnovsky said at the time: “In 2024 the world will no longer talk about Ukraine,” as was shown in an overlay. The really bad thing will happen in Iran, in the Middle East, the world will be heading towards World War III in 2024, and Turkey and Europe will send everyone fleeing the Middle East to Russia. Zhirinovsky, who died in 2022, was a right-wing populist politician in Russia.
Simonyan speaks on Russia's state TV about Russian exiles and the gallows
When no one wanted to comment on Solovyov's theory, the moderator called on the propagandist Margarita Simonyan, who was standing next to him. She thought for a moment - and then spoke about prophecy: Maybe one day science will discover that there are prophetic powers - just as they hadn't known anything like electricity or antibiotics until recently. In any case, she hopes that Zhirinovsky was really able to see into the future and will be right: “That the world forgets Ukraine and leaves us and our Ukraine alone is the most important thing to me in this context.”
Simonjan then talked about Russian exiles who were homesick, especially now in the spring. “And how do they react to that? With gallows. They demand that Solovyov be hanged on the right, Simonyan on the left. And it scares me to say who should be stuck in the middle.” She obviously doesn’t want to say the name of Russian President Vladimir Putin here.
State propagandist needs “people who will do the hanging”
Simonjan said she wanted to reverse this demand; this was the only way to respond to it. “We need the people who will take over the gallows hanging.” She then referred to a Russian general Muravyov, who “heroically” had around 130 Polish insurgents hanged at the beginning of the 20th century.
“I don’t know whether it will go back to Poland,” says Simonjan. “But we need the people to do the hanging, at least in the areas that are already ours. Let the Russian exiles stay where they are.” Simonyan was probably referring to Ukraine. And it remains unchallenged on all points.
