The political echelon decided, on the recommendation of the IDF, to define the Gaza Strip as the main theater of war - and the fighting in Lebanon as a secondary arena. The decision comes against the background of the incident that happened today (Wednesday) in which Hezbollah struck with a suicide drone at the Bedouin village of Arab al-Aramsha, which is located on the border of Lebanon and caused for harming 18 people, including reservists and civilians.
Due to the fact that most of the village was evacuated, it was difficult to understand the situation at first, i.e. how many people were injured and the severity of their injuries. However, the fire center of the Northern Command quickly responded and directed the firing of dozens of artillery shells at terrorist targets in the area and additionally attacked a building in the village of Ita al-Shayib where Hezbollah operatives were hiding. It is believed that the activists were killed.
Against the background of the difficult incident on the Lebanese border, the question arises - why is the IDF not escalating the war against Hezbollah, which for now consists of air and ground attacks. As mentioned, the political echelon, on the recommendation of the IDF, decided that the Gaza Strip would be defined as the main theater of war and the war against Hezbollah would be defined as a secondary one. When a security official was asked about this, he replied: "There are 133 reasons for this decision. There are 133 abductees and the

is doing everything to focus attention on their return in any way."
Sources within the military system who think that it is appropriate to raise the level of response against Hezbollah, with more targeted countermeasures and a more destructive rate of fire for any use of UAVs that so far have not been able to find an effective interception method. A security source responded to this issue and said: "The Northern Command carries out the policy . Eliminating three senior commanders in two days is unusual, and even then, every action is carried out with consideration and assessment of the situation."
