1000Miglia, the Alpine Cup ends in Courmayeur

Highlights: As part of the 2024 edition of the Coppa delle Alpi (winter regularity race for historic cars), 1000Miglia launches the project "The Great Alpine Journey." The competition will stop in some of the most well-known locations in the world: from Trieste to Courmayeur via Kranjska Gora, Cortina d'Ampezzo, Brunico, Seefeld, Garmish, Livigno, Saint Moritz, Gstaad, and Chamonix. The participating cars, limited to a maximum number of 30, will face five days of competition during which they will cross the Alpine chain. The final stop will be in Courmayeur, where the "Great Alpine Journey" will end with a Forum, the sum of the ideas and contributions collected every day. The competition takes place from April 28th to May 4th. The stages are: Trieste-Cortina (29 April, 370 km), Cortina-Seefeld (30 April, 285 km), Seefelder-Saint Moritz (1 May, 370 km), Saint Moritz-Gstaad (2 May, 395 km), Saint Moritz-Gstaad (2 May, 395 km), and Gstaad-Courmayeur (3 May, 160 km).

As part of the 2024 edition of the Alpine Cup (winter regularity race for historic cars), 1000Miglia launches the project "The Great Alpine Journey", a path of reflection parallel to the race itinerary and aimed at representing the socio-economic, anthropological and environmental transformations that the Alpine territory in its cross-border dimension.


   The competition will stop in some of the most well-known locations in the world: from Trieste to Courmayeur via Kranjska Gora, Cortina d'Ampezzo, Brunico, Seefeld, Garmish, Livigno, Saint Moritz, Gstaad and Chamonix.
