At the moment in Italy "there are no threats" linked to Islamic terrorism, "the only risk that could exist is of a few lone wolves due to a emulation effect, but the prevention activity has already given positive results". Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said this at an ANSA Forum, recalling the recent arrest of three people in L'Aquila who could have carried out a terrorist act.
Tajani recalled, among other things, that "all sensitive locations have been protected and controlled since 8 October" and that "Minister Piantedosi is doing an extraordinary job, together with the police and intelligence forces".
