'Vinitaly Design Award 2024', here are the 67 awards

Highlights: A total of 67 prizes were awarded at the 'Vinitaly Design Award 2024', divided into 10 Best and 57 trophies including Black, Gold, Silver and Bronze. In the competition which rewards the best packaging for wine, spirits, extra virgin olive oil, beers and secondary packaging - in which 335 projects from advertising agencies, designers and manufacturing companies participated. The award for 'Agency Of The Year 2024' went to 'Spazio Di Paolo' based in Spoltore (Pescara), which ended up running up the running of the competition. The artistic director Mario DiPaolo: "I hope that the projects registered will increase, so as to be able to define the new trend of Italian packaging" The ceremony was held on Saturday 13th in Verona during a gala evening at the Ristori theatre. "This year we have witnessed a rebirth of the historic Vinitaly Packaging Design competition, we have brought together a jury of 20 elements among the best professionals in the sector with the legal supervision of lawyers Mauro Cobelli and Mauro Giuri to evaluate the 335 projects received - explains the artistic director Mario Di Paolo - The categories have been simplified, others have been added to increase the number of registrations, obviously the jurors who had their projects in the competition were not able to vote for them". He himself abstained from voting in the categories in which his agency, 'Spazio Di Paolo', found itself in the running and ended up on the podium. "I cannot hide my satisfaction, which derives above all from the quality of the works presented, the competition is becoming more and more difficult and the quality level will rise further in the next editions. I hope that the registered projects will increase, so as to be able to better define the new ones trend of Italian packaging design. Vinitaly confirms itself not only as a showcase but also as a moment for discussion between professionals and producers". Next year, Di Paolo announces, the jurors will become 30 and the competition will be divided into two days, one of which will be dedicated to training with the participation of schools and sector professionals.
