2024-04-16T03:32:14.210Z

Highlights: ARD's quiz show "Who knows something like that XXL" had a guest on Saturday. Rapper Capital Bra was also a candidate on the popular quiz show. But the rapper's participation caused great irritation among some fans. “I'm happy. But who on earth is Capital Bra and what entitles him to take part in this (great) show?” asks an astonished user. "After the 10,000th brother and brother heart, I couldn’t stand it anymore,” writes another viewer, and “Classic miscasting for a prime time show” or ‘I’m too old for ‘Capital Bra’” says another viewer. The new episode secured top ratings with the overall audience on Saturday evening. It was a great success, because the competitors on the private channels also showed popular show formats at prime time (“Because they don't know what’s happening” on RTL and ‘The Masked Singer’ on ProSieben)

For the new edition of “Who knows something like that XXL”, ARD has once again invited top-class guests to its studio. This time a German rapper was also there - and that caused discussions online.

Hamburg – On Saturday evening (April 13th), ARD showed a new episode of “Who knows something like that XXL” with presenter Kai Pflaume (56). In addition to Martin Rütter (53), Kurt Krömer (49), Frauke Ludowig (60), Johannes B. Kerner (59) and Jeanette Biedermann (44), rapper Capital Bra (29) was also a candidate on the popular quiz show. But the rapper's participation caused great irritation among some fans.

Hit duel on “Who knows something like that XXL”: Rapper Capital Bra against Jeanette Biedermann

The new episode of “Who knows something like that XXL” secured top ratings with the overall audience on Saturday evening. A great success, because the competitors on the private channels also showed popular show formats at prime time (“Because they don’t know what’s happening” on RTL and “The Masked Singer” on ProSieben). However, a participant in Kai Pflaume's quiz show caused a lot of conversation online.

Rapper Capital Bra competed with Elton (53) against fellow candidate Jeanette Biedermann from Bernhard Hoëcker's (54) team. The welcome from showmaster Kai Pflaume was very warm. Nevertheless, the 56-year-old openly admitted that he did not think that the rapper would be interested in taking part in a quiz format.

“I was very happy when I heard that you were coming here today and would be our guest. But to be honest - I wouldn't have thought that a quiz show like this would be the first thing where you would say: 'Oh, I'd really like that!'" said Kai Pflaume to his guest, but Capital Bra then replied: " The thing is, look, I was 16 or 15 too... I watched you so - it's an honor for me to be here too."

“I'm too old for 'Capital Bra'”: Fans confused by the rapper's “Who knows something like that?” participation

But some ARD viewers seem less happy about the rapper's participation. A Facebook post by “Who knows something like that?” is full of comments from confused fans. "I'm happy. But who on earth is Capital Bra and what entitles him to take part in this (great) show?” asks an astonished user. “After the 10,000th brother and brother heart, I couldn’t stand it anymore,” writes another viewer, and “Classic miscasting for a prime time show” or “I’m too old for ‘Capital Bra’.”

Before Capital Bra and Jeanette Biedermann's appearance, ARD showed the presenter duel between Frauke Ludowig and Johannes B. Kerner. There was a small mistake in the final question, but it went unnoticed during the show.
