Captain Ron Sarfati, a security officer in the air traffic control system, was murdered on the morning of October 7 in an attack by Hamas terrorists at the nature party in Kibbutz Ra'im. In Nefel, Ron was 22 years old. Erez Sarfati, Ron's father, shared this morning (Monday) on 103FM his feelings from that day they were left in the tragedy.
"We are still on October 7, both in the emotional and logical sense and in the essential sense, nothing has moved since then," he admitted. "Ron is our eldest daughter, we have another 20-year-old twins, still serving in the army. Both are being treated, it's a very serious process. What happened on October 7 is not an act of hostilities, it started before. We realize today that everyone knew, or whoever was You need to know knowledge. Later, he clarified: "Imagine what happens to us on October 7. We wake up, and for days we see our children being murdered live on social networks. Our children could have been saved.
