The best children's and young people's books of March 2024

2024-03-30T04:59:14.793Z

Highlights: The best children's and young people's books of March 2024. Elephants hidden in every corner, a hungry toad, an original dystopia and an intimate memory of the Civil War. The power of imagination, the same one that saves the little fish protagonist of another work and that, in general, elevates many of the chosen titles. To not forget. And, deep down, also to imagine: perhaps a better world is possible. The lighthouse of the three worlds. Cheshire's cat. The keeper of the books.

Adult life, what a hustle and bustle. There is no time for anything, always on the run, from one place to another. To stop and look around... for an elephant! Things from the fantasy of the little ones, their absurdities. And yet, behind the mission entrusted by one of the children's and young people's books selected this month by 10 booksellers from different Autonomous Communities, there is much more hidden than the hunt for the invisible pachyderm. The power of imagination, the same one that saves the little fish protagonist of another work and that, in general, elevates many of the chosen titles. Although there are also issues as real as the Civil War or bullying. To not forget. And, deep down, also to imagine: perhaps a better world is possible.
