The “oSTAradeln” in the Starnberg district runs until Easter Monday. Anyone who takes a photo of themselves with an Easter egg on the district cycle path can win something.

– The “oSTAradeln” runs until Easter Monday, April 1st, where excursionists can win something by bike. At the start on Good Friday, district administrator Stefan Frey, Christoph Winkelkötter as managing director of the Society for Economics and Tourism (gwt), the operations manager of Starnberg Lake Shipping, Matthias Leis, and those involved in the project distributed Easter presents and information to passers-by on the lake promenade in Starnberg. These included chocolate eggs, Easter bunny lollipops, Easter fortune cookies and tulips with vouchers for taking bikes with you on lake cruises.
That's what's behind the "oSTAradeln": Colorful Easter eggs are attached to selected signage locations along the district cycle path throughout the district, which contain a QR code for participation in the Easter competition of the mobility projects department in the district office. “To get into the draw, all you have to do is take a picture of yourself with the Easter egg, scan the QR code and fill out the form with your own contact details and upload the picture. If there are any defects in the signage during the bike tour, these can optionally be indicated in the form,” said the district office. With every Easter egg found, a ticket goes into the draw pot and increases the chance of winning. Three main prizes will be raffled off among all participants, which will be handed over by District Administrator Stefan Frey.
The aim of the campaign is to increase awareness of cycling and the numerous cycle routes and, above all, to draw attention to the progressive optimization of the cycle route signage, which is being implemented in collaboration with the municipalities and the gwt, the district authority continued. The project has already been completed or is being implemented in the communities of Berg, Feldafing, Gilching, Herrsching, Inning, Krailling, Seefeld, Tutzing and Weßling. The overarching goal is to upgrade the existing cycle path network and thus promote cycling in the long term. With the “oSTAradeln” the district is also promoting the damage reporter (www.lk-starnberg.de/Schadensmelder). Further information about the campaign can be found at www.lk-starnberg.de/oSTAradeln.
