Edoardo Galli, the sixteen-year-old who disappeared last March 21 from Colico (Lecco), was found this morning in the Central Station in Milan. The boy was buying a ticket to return home.
This was recognized by a couple of travellers, who immediately notified FS Security staff who, in turn, requested the intervention of the Railway Police. His parents immediately arrived on site from Lecco to hug him again. "I have no more tears" said their father Alessandro, thanking the police, friends, and all those who have been close to them in recent days, at the end of what he called "a terrible week".
"The most beautiful thing - he added - is that he is very well", while where he was and with whom "is the thing that interests us the least". Even grandfather Franco, interviewed by Mattino 5, spoke of the "end of a nightmare. Now let's go back to living".
The boy, after leaving home, arrived by bus at the border with Montenegro. Here, given the activation of international cooperation channels, he was checked on the night of March 27 by the Croatian police, exactly at the Karasovici-Sutorina border and was discovered. Therefore he returned to Italy where this morning he was recognized at the Central station. s
