A man was found stabbed to death in a stairwell of a building on Thursday in Grigny (Essonne) and a murder investigation was opened, the Evry prosecutor's office said on Friday, requested by AFP.
The victim, aged 43,
“presented multiple injuries appearing to result from stab wounds
,” said the prosecution, confirming information from Le
Parisien
. The man's body was discovered on Thursday around 6:30 p.m. and an autopsy is planned for Friday, the public prosecutor added.
According to a police source, the man was found in a building in the city of Grande Borne and had wounds on his chest and neck. The investigations were entrusted to the Essonne judicial police. No suspect has yet been arrested, according to the prosecution.
