The first elements of the investigation reveal a terrible construction site incident. Thursday, at 4:48 p.m., in the Gironde commune of Bernos-Beaulac, an Enedis worker was declared dead by the Samu.
Aged 36, he was changing the pole of a 20,000 volt high voltage line when he was allegedly hit by an electric arc (a flow of electric current passing through the air, Editor's note). An electrocution which took place before the eyes of four of his colleagues, on the ground.
With him in the repair basket, another thirty-year-old was injured. He was nevertheless conscious when she was lowered. The latter was evacuated without these days being in danger to the Pellegrin University Hospital, in Bordeaux, while the mayor of the town went to the scene of the accident. The investigation is entrusted to the national gendarmerie brigade, located in Langon.
