Salim Berrada, dubbed by the French press as "the Tinder rapist", was found guilty of raping and sexually assaulting 15 women he met on dating sites and social networks, and was sentenced by the court to 18 years in prison.
In two other cases related to two other women he was acquitted. The judges believe that there is a lack of evidence against him.
The Court underlined a "proven operational modality", in addition to the "seriousness of the crimes and misdemeanors", considered "particularly worrying", as well as the number of victims, indicated President Thierry Fusina. (ANSA).
