22 people were injured in a bus accident in North Rhine-Westphalia overnight. The A44 was partially closed.
Werl - A coach with around 60 passengers left the road on Autobahn 44 in North Rhine-Westphalia and fell onto its side. According to current knowledge, it was an accident without the involvement of other vehicles; the cause is still unclear, the police said.
22 people were injured in the accident near Werl. The A44 was completely closed from the Unna Ost exits to Werl in the direction of Kassel. In addition to the fire department, a rescue helicopter was also on duty. It was only on Wednesday morning that there was a serious bus accident on the A9 near Leipzig. dpa
