La Grenouillère may have taken on water, but the great Alexandre Gauthier is not throwing in the towel. While its flagship in La Madelaine-sous-Montreuil (Pas-de-Calais) was seriously damaged by the floods of La Canche which flows near the restaurant - the reopening of which is planned for this spring - the two-star Michelin is orchestrating an exclusive Parisian residence which promises to be memorable for those who have the privilege of treating themselves to it.

From April 10 to 14, the “Hors les Murs” of La Grenouillère will take place in an undisclosed location in the 8th arrondissement, the address of which will only be revealed the day before the reservation.
To arrange it, Alexandre Gauthier called on the director Julien Gosselin, who notably produced
Extinction
at the last Avignon Festival.
Lunch costs €320, dinner €520 - including a glass of champagne, the La Grenouillère menu with food and wine pairing, water and a hot drink (reservation here).
The chef's idea is to export, with theatricality, the spirit, philosophy and aesthetics of his gastronomic restaurant with its unique identity to another place - as Noma or Mirazur did before him.
