Fürstenfeldbruck – Pictures often say more than a thousand words. This also applies to photographs. Capturing moods or capturing the perfect moment – a photo can be true art. This will become clear again at the 26th International Nature Photo Days in Fürstenfeld from April 19th to 21st.

Whether snow-white polar bears, colorful birds or impressive landscapes – nature offers an almost endless number of motifs. With the theme “Islands of the World” we will once again take a journey through the natural beauties around the world. And this journey takes you through Greenland and Svalbard, to Tasmania, to the tropical islands, back to Cornwall and the Scottish Highlands.

The Nature Photo Days have been taking place in the event forum for 22 years and always attract a large audience. “It is a highlight in the district,” says savings bank director Frank Optiz. From the very beginning, Sparkasse Fürstenfeldbruck has supported the Nature Photo Days as a sponsor.

A trip around the world

This year's motto is reflected in the lecture program. During the “trip around the world,” as organizer Udo Höcke describes it, eight lectures will take the audience to islands such as Borneo and Madagascar. In addition, visitors can register for 15 workshops and ten seminars. The range of workshops varies: all-day courses on topics such as animal photography and experimental photography or courses lasting several hours on wide-angle photography. Courses on cell phone, macro or kingfisher photography are also offered.

Free supporting program

Don't forget the free supporting program. This includes the photography market with over 100 exhibitor stands, six short seminars, the travel market with 23 exhibitors, the nature market with representatives from the Federation for the Environment and Nature Conservation and Greenpeace, as well as the service market with repair and testing options. The air show should not be missed this year either. The demonstration with eagles and falcons is once again eagerly awaited by many visitors. And with almost 280 images, the photo exhibition is also quite impressive. If you don't want to wait until April 19th, you can already admire some works of art in the Sparkasse Fürstenfeldbruck premises during regular opening hours.
