The attacks on Russia's Black Sea Fleet are apparently having consequences: Now a governor is reporting a new accident.
Simferopol – A plane crashed into the sea near the port city of Sevastopol on the Russian-annexed Crimean peninsula. This is reported by the Russian news agency

, citing regional governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.
It was a Russian military aircraft and its pilot was “ejected” during the incident, it was said. The pilot was safely rescued from the shore by the Sevastopol rescue service, Razvozhaev wrote on Telegram.
