The Keolis company suspects a malicious act behind the derailment of a train on line 7, which occurred this Wednesday evening in the Parc OL sector, in Décines-Charpieu, just after the junction with T3. by the company, which operates the Lyon public transport network (TCL). It will make it possible to requisition the images filmed by the video surveillance cameras present on the trains, but also around them. Images which will be transmitted to the Lyon police as part of the investigation.
No injuries
The derailment occurred on the rear part of the train, specifies Keolis, which did not produce any significant shock. The two passengers on board were not injured. Traffic nevertheless had to be interrupted for several hours, while a crane was called in to replace the machine on the rails. Once safety checks were carried out, traffic was able to resume at the end of the night.
