A year ago, Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and his wife Stéphanie became parents for the second time. The Luxembourg royals now presented their sons on Instagram.
Luxembourg – In the media hype surrounding the European nobility, the dukes of Luxembourg usually play a reserved role. However, an important anniversary has now put Guillaume of Luxembourg (42) and his small family in the well-deserved spotlight. However, the star of the reporting was neither the Hereditary Grand Duke nor his wife Stéphanie (40), but rather the little Prince François (1).
The Luxembourg princes appear on Instagram in coordinated outfits
The youngest son of the heir to the throne celebrated his first birthday on March 27th and delighted royal fans with a cute snapshot on the official
account of the Luxembourg nobility. On the occasion of François' first birthday, the Duke's Palace published a series of cute photos showing the baby and his older brother Charles (3) alongside their parents Guillaume and Stéphanie at the celebrations.
The little princes' coordinated outfits were particularly delightful, as Charles and François posed in a matching look consisting of khaki-colored corduroy pants and cream-white knitted sweaters with brown stripes. The photos show the little family at the birthday table, but some individual photos of the little boys were also published by the palace.
François and Charles of Luxembourg are surrounded by many different languages
For the birthday post, the Luxembourg Duke's Palace also published official congratulations to François, which were written in different languages, as is typical for the small state. In addition to his native language, Luxembourgish, Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume is of course also fluent in the other national languages of French and German.
Charles and François will also later have to adequately reflect the diverse linguistic influences of their home country. The princes will definitely be learning French through their mother Stéphanie, who herself comes from the Belgian nobility. Another mini-royal from Luxembourg has a telling name.
